Door Components, Inc. and its affiliates (“DCI Hollow Metal” or “DCI”) respects your privacy and understands that you care about your personal information and how it is used. This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) applies to personal information collected by the Company of visitors to the www.dcihollowmetal.com site (the “Site”). This Privacy Notice describes in detail the types of information we collect about you; how we use your information and with whom we share it; the choices and rights you have with regard to your information; how we protect your information; and how you can contact us about our privacy practices.

DCI does not share, sell or rent customer information to outside companies for their promotional use.

The Site is intended for a general audience, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. In addition, please review our Terms of Use, which governs your use of the services.

Information you provide to the DCI Hollow Metal Site. When you access certain features of the Site, or directly correspond with us, we may collect certain types of information from you:

  • Contact information (such as name, postal address, email address and telephone and/or mobile numbers)
  • Occupational data (such as profession, position, title, company)
  • Other information you may provide to us, such as through our “Get In Touch” feature on our Contact page
  • DCI does not require customers to sign in or register with the site and allow many downloads from our Library page with templates, brochures, forms or reference material. These download as PDF’s for customers to use and mail or email to DCI (when applicable)
  • If you want to become a DCI Distributer You will be directed to download our credit application as a PDF, to fill out and email back to finance@dcihollowmetal.com. Due to the sensitive nature of a credit application we do not capture any of that information on our website. Simply download the PDF fill it out, and send it to the above email address.
  • If you want to become a part of the growing DCI family you may submit your resume, which we will use in the course of our recruiting procedure. No personal information is captured on the website, and the resumes are delivered via email resume@dcihollowmetal.com directly to our HR Department.

Information obtained from other sources. We may obtain personal information about you through the Site from publicly and commercially available sources and from our service providers, including geo-location data.

Information Collected by Automated Means Through Our Site. Usage

All information provided to DCI is used internally within DCI to:

  • To fulfill or meet the reason you provided the information. For example if you ask for a price quote we will use your account information provided to provide the information requested
  • Create, Maintain, Customize, and Secure your account with us
  • Process your requests, purchases, transactions and payments and prevent transactional fraud
  • Provide Support for your requests and respond to your inquiries, including investigate and address your concerns and monitor and improve our responses

DCI does not share, sell, or rent our Customers personal information.

Service Providers

DCI does use third parties, such as D&B, other credit resources in order to determine credit worthiness for Credit Applications. All other Customer Personal Information is only accessible to DCI employees or service providers. Service Providers are trusted third parties engaged to perform function and provide services to DCI, including hosting and maintenance, error monitoring, debugging, performance monitoring, database storage and management, Shipping, Field Services, Event Providers for Customer Events. DCI does require these third party providers to maintain the privacy and security of the Personal Information they process on our behalf.

4. INFORMATION WE SHARE

DCI does not share, sell or rent our Customers personal information. We may share your personal information:

  • With our Service Providers. With our service providers who perform services on our behalf. DCI does require these third party providers to maintain the privacy and security of the Personal Information they process on our behalf.
  • For Legal Requirements and Proceedings. We may disclose information to law enforcement authorities or other government officials if we are required to do so to comply with subpoenas, court orders, legal process or other law enforcement or other government measures, and to comply with other legal obligations. We may also disclose information if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual fraudulent or illegal activity.

DCI does not share, sell or rent your personal information.
